While the existing website contains good-quality visuals, its clunky information architecture and weak copy seems to undermine its usability.
My design process was as follows:
Focused on a clear value proposition through a landing page with an interactive brochure-like structure. Based on interviews with the manager, three main value propositions were identified and highlighted
Extracted content and condensed the site map into a single, impactful page
Designed the landing page with visual appeal and emotional resonance
Implemented designs on Webflow with custom elements and animations
Structure
Navigation toolbar: Added links for easy section access (About, FAQ, and Contact)
Hero section: Used a captivating video for a strong first impression
About section: Used branded imagery to convey company information
FAQ Section: Addressed potential objections before the CTA
CTA: Incorporated interactive buttons for direct contact
Styling
Maintained brand's CMYK color palette, emphasizing black and white
Applied opacity levels (87%, 60%, 38%) as per Google's text guidelines
Identified the company font (Frutiger) and used as display style on the website, and chose Myriad as a visually similar font more suited for body text on screens
Animations
I wanted to leverage visuals to convey the value propositions memorably:
